Pigeonwood (Hedycarya arborea)

A New Zealand native tree valued for its attractive foliage and wildlife benefits.  An evergreen tree producing glossy green leaves and clusters of small, fragrant flowers in spring, followed by orange fruit that attracts kereru and other native birds.  Adds a striking addition to native plantings, important for biodiversity and restoration.
Grows to 6-10 m in height and 3-5m width.
